Distributors and Retailers

Product Cost

All Ody-see versions currently are recommended to retail for the same price, including the launch product Global Ody-see. OCL is planning different Ody-see versions. The recommended retail price (RRP, same as MSRP) for this product as at 3 December 2008 is US$60.00.

All costs are subject to change and will be regularly assessed by OCL, which will monitor the market and oblige the manufacturer to provide product to distributors at specified prices.

Direct Retailers and Distributors

OCL is seeking Direct Retailers (Internet retailer or direct import and sales) and Distributors (for traditional retail shops)  capable of purchasing product direct from the Licensed Manufacturer. This is to ensure that the Manufacturer-Distributor-Retailer supply chain is as cost and time efficient as possible. OCL intends to concentrate on product standards and development. OCL receives a monthly royalty payment per unit, so Distributors do not require individual OCL shipment invoices.

OCL is proud to announce that major distributor ACD Distribution, LLC is now stocking our products for the US market.

Manufacturer

The Licensed Manufacturer is expected to deliver product within four weeks of any order. A minimum order of 240 units is assumed for shipping to any licensed distributor.

The manufacturing cost reflects the special manufacturing process to make a high quality product by lamination of a special image into the mould, which produces a unique, hard wearing and beautiful 3D surface that is as much a model as it is a game.

All Ody-see box game versions are the same size:

• 70 mm high, 320 mm wide, 460 mm long (2.8" high, 12.6" wide, 18.1" long).

• 2.25 kg (5.0 lb).

The Global Ody-see bar code has been verified by the worldwide GS1 organisation.

Distribution Licences

OCL is interested in issuing two year Distribution Licence Agreements to Distributors in various places around the world. Distributors will be allowed to retail directly to customers within a specified region. A Direct Retailer may retail worldwide. OCL reserves the right to retail to specified customers but will not normally be involved in the process of distribution and retail, other than in a monitoring role and in region where a Distribution Licence has not been issued.

Upon application, prospective distributors may request a free no-obligations game copy.  

OCL reserves the right to charge a licence fee in future but at present there are no licence fees.
